Bio

Biologist and visual artist Monika Krzynówek, received her MFA from Biology at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. She received her MFA in Photography at the Interdisciplinary Master Studies at the University of Art in Poznan. Now, a PhD candidate at the Fine Arts Doctoral Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. In 2016, she made faculty at Belas Artes University in Lisbon. Krzynówek’s goal is to augment the relationship between art and science. Areas of application include geology, biology, philosophy, performance, product design, video and installation. In 2017 she had opportunity to explore the secrets of the Brazilian Yawanawa tribe culture with the effect of positive desintegration.
